  • What is CircleUp?

    CircleUp is a social discovery community bridging the gap between digital lives and real-world connections. Somewhere along the way, meeting new people just stops being easy. Adult life leaves little space for the kind of unplanned conversations that turn into something real. So we create that space—a relaxed evening, a curated crowd, and good conversation that actually flows.

  • What we do?

    We bring hand-picked people together in premium public and cosy spaces, ensuring every 'stranger' you meet is met with safety and shared energy. Whether you're an introvert or ambivert, our ice-breakers/mini-games/structured interaction activities will make 'stepping out of your box' comfortable and memorable.

  • What to expect?
    • Premium Public Venues: We host exclusively at well-known, high-rated locations like Viman Nagar, KP, Kalyani Nagar, and Kharadi, with more venues and neighbourhoods coming soon.
    • Safety First: Your comfort is our priority. We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior to ensure a safe, respectful space for everyone.
    • Curated Menu: You’ll enjoy a choice of veg/non-veg starters, a choice of beverages (alcohol or non-alcohol). We typically aim for a spread of 3 starters, 3 drinks and a dessert to wrap up the event.
    • Perfect Balance: We maintain a 1:1 gender ratio to keep the energy balanced. We keep the groups small because people connect better when they feel truly "seen" and accountable to one another.
    • Duration: 2-3 hours.

💡 Are CircleUp events held on weekdays or weekends?

💡 Is this some kind of speed-dating mixer? 💡

Not at all! We focus on a balanced 1:1 gender ratio in our rooms, but to be entirely clear: this is not a setup for dating.

We believe mixed-gender conversations bring out fresh perspectives and unique energy that help everyone expand their social comfort zone. While we aren't matchmaking experts and don't orchestrate romantic setups, we do recognize that when cool people share a space, sometimes sparks do fly naturally. However, if your primary goal is to find a partner, CircleUP is not the right space for you, and we actively discourage it.

Our mission is simply to help you build authentic friendships, because we firmly believe that the foundation of any great human connection begins right there. We create the room; you bring the vibe.

For events specifically designed for singles, participation will be limited to singles only.
For all our other social experiences, relationship status isn't a deciding factor.

Of course there is! CircleUP is about human connection, not your relationship status.

Whenever an event has specific eligibility criteria, we'll clearly mention it in the event details. We'd love to have you join one of those experiences that best matches you. 😊

💡 Do I have to come solo, or can I roll up with my friends? 💡

We highly encourage coming solo! It completely changes how you interact and opens you up to meeting new people without the safety net of a familiar face. That said, if you’re an introvert and feel more comfortable rolling up with a friend, we are more than happy to welcome you both! Just keep in mind that you and your friend will need to register separately, and make sure to mention each other's names in your respective forms so our curation team knows you're a duo.

💡 I’m a massive introvert. Am I going to feel forced or awkward during the interactive segments? 💡

We've got your back. CircleUP is specifically designed to be an introvert’s safe haven. In fact, we believe no one is entirely an introvert, everyone has a select few people with whom they can interact completely comfortably. Our goal is simply to create that exact kind of zone for you. There are no cheesy icebreakers, forced spotlights, or cringey public speaking moments. Our interactive elements are casual, low-pressure, and structured just enough to naturally break the ice so you can loosen up and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

💡 How exactly do you guys match people for a Circle? 💡

It’s a mix of art and science! We dive into the details you share during registration, looking at shared interests, age groups, background vibes, and conversational energy. That said, we aren't infallible matchmaking experts and we might get it wrong at certain places, but we try our absolute best. Our ultimate goal is to craft a balanced, friction-free room where you have just enough common ground to start a chat, and enough diverse perspectives to keep it fascinating.

💡 Do you screen people for every single event, or just the first time? 💡

Every single event gets a dedicated curation process. Because we carefully hand-pick and balance the guest list specifically for the theme, venue, and mix of attendees for that specific event, the screening happens every time to ensure the room dynamic is absolute magic.

💡 Can I pick a specific upcoming date, or do you assign one to me? 💡

We actually do both! You can directly register for a specific announced event that catches your eye, or you can simply submit your profile to us and let us curate the perfect match for you when the right room opens up. Either way, you can always jump on our WhatsApp channel to update us on your availability or chat with the team about upcoming dates!

💡 Will I know who else is coming before the event? 💡

Nope, the guest list is kept entirely confidential to protect everyone's privacy and keep a bit of that exciting element of surprise alive. You’ll get to discover exactly who is in your Circle the moment you walk through the door!

💡 Does my ticket cover unlimited food and drinks? 💡

Inclusions vary depending on the specific venue partner, theme, and overall experience of the night. Don't worry, though, we hate surprises on the bill as much as you do. The exact food and beverage inclusions for your event will always be explicitly shared with you before you make any payment.

💡 Is the venue premium/private, or is it a crowded, noisy public space? 💡

We partner exclusively with premium, hand-picked lounges and spaces across the city, aiming to secure dedicated, comfortable areas for CircleUP guests so you can actually hear each other speak and laugh. That said, while our strict intention is always to provide a private, curated vibe, public spaces can occasionally be unpredictable. Even when a venue gets unexpectedly lively, we always do our absolute best to manage the environment and keep your experience premium.

💡 What happens if I register and pay, but something comes up last minute? 💡

Because each Circle is a carefully balanced group, last-minute dropouts really affect the room dynamic and our planning. Because of this, tickets are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event. If you need to request a special-case transfer before that window, reach out to Team CircleUP and we will do our best to help.

💡 What’s the dress code? How fancy are we talking? 💡

There is no rigid dress code, whether it's party wear, smart casual, or whatever makes you feel completely confident, you're good to go! Just dress like you're heading out to meet someone you're genuinely excited to know, and make sure you're comfortable enough to move around and mingle.

Occasionally, we might host specific themed events. For those nights, we highly encourage you to participate in the theme, but don't worry—we aren't back in school and there are no strict enforcement rules. If an event has a special vibe or theme, we will always announce it well in advance!

💡 Why do you need my Instagram and an Aadhaar ID copy during registration? 💡

Your comfort and safety are our highest priorities. While we know a basic verification check can't completely eliminate every dishonest profile, requiring an Aadhaar ID copy alongside a quick social media check allows us to eliminate the vast majority of fake personalities.

Please rest assured that your documents and handles are kept strictly private, securely stored, and will never be shared with anyone or revealed publicly. You are also completely welcome to mask or hide your unique identification numbers on your Aadhaar. We strictly use it for a one-time name verification to ensure everyone walking through the door is exactly who they say they are.

💡 Will my social handles or photos from the event be posted publicly? 💡

We deeply respect your privacy. Your social media handles and ID copies are strictly for verification and will never be shared with other participants or the public. We do occasionally capture the aesthetic and vibe of our gatherings for our official social media channels, but we are incredibly mindful of your comfort. If you’d prefer to stay entirely off-camera, just give Team CircleUP a heads-up before the evening kicks off, and we’ll make sure you stay out of the frame.

💡 What’s the move if someone at the event is making me feel uncomfortable? 💡

We have a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, harassment, or crossing boundaries. Team CircleUP is physically present at every single gathering, keeping a close eye on the room. If anyone spoils the vibe or makes you feel uneasy, just quietly let one of our team members know, we will handle it immediately and discreetly.
